Foundation Courses in Romania
Foundation courses in Romania or foundation programs, simply called preparatory courses (year) in Romania for further university studies are one-year preparation course, designed for international students, which leads to undergraduate university programmes in Romania. Specialists or researchers may take also Romanian language course. Foundation Courses in Romania are organised by different state and private universities within dedicated departments and take a full year for undergraduate students while for post graduate study the program can take only 6 months. The courses include 2 semesters: the first semester is dedicated exclusively to Romanian languages, while the last semester is, is dedicated to subjects related to the program the student will follow after preparatory courses. Therefore, there is foundation courses for Medical studies (premedical courses), technical studies, economical studies, social studies etc. Romanian language is one of the five European Romance (Latin) languages along with Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Catalan. Romanian is the official national language of Romania and Moldova and is used in different countries in the world by Romanian university alumni. In fact, from years, Romania is among well-known popular international student destinations in the world.
